Purpose
The Employee and Retirement Savings Commission deals with all matters relating to employee savings schemes, including retirement savings and employee share ownership.
It brings together representatives of :
- Portfolio management companies managing company mutual funds (FCPE)
- Account-keeping institutions managing employee savings and/or company pension schemes in securities account format.
Other AFG members may also participate on specific subjects, in particular corresponding members.
Two committees are attached to the Employee and Retirement Savings Commission :
- The Employee and Retirement Savings Bookkeeping Committee
- Employee and Retirement Savings Legal Committee
Goals
- To represent AFG members involved in employee and pension savings management in dealings with French and international public institutions;
- Pool the expertise of its members, notably through working groups;
- Propose legislative and regulatory advances to support the development and evolution of employee savings and retirement schemes;
- Respond to consultations and participate in industry initiatives, including those with other trade associations.
