The European Commission will publish its project on the Savings and Investment Union (SIU) on March 19, 2025.
In its response to the consultation, AFG advocates for an ambitious approach serving both European retail investors and EU economy by sharing the following priorities:
- The deployment of long-term savings invested in Europe through an Invest-EU label
- A competitive European asset management industry
- A simplified regulatory framework to make investment in Europe more attractive and to enhance EU competitiveness.
