The Association Fran\u00e7aise de la Gestion Financi\u00e8re (AFG) is the professional body representing the French asset management industry, particularly portfolio management companies. It is the voice of its members, defending their interests in dealings with public authorities and regulators such as the Autorit\u00e9 des march\u00e9s financiers (AMF). It also ensures the development and competitiveness of the French asset management industry. The AFG is the forum for discussion and exchange for industry professionals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AFG has over 440 members, including more than 340 asset management companies, representing 90% of the \u20ac4600 billion in assets under management in France. Asset management companies, as well as other financial players involved in asset management, can join the AFG. To do so, a membership application must be submitted online via the website . Membership is subject to approval by the AFG Board of Directors, which assesses applicants’ qualifications.
