The requirement for asset management companies to join an industry association<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Monetary and Financial Code <\/strong>(article L 531-8<\/em>) stipulates that each investment firm, including asset management companies, must join an industry association of its choice, responsible for collectively representating and defending the rights and interests of its members. This association must be a member of the AFECEI – Association Fran\u00e7aise des Etablissements de Cr\u00e9dit et des Entreprises d’Investissement.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AFG has been a member of the AFECEI since September 5, 1996.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Becoming a member of the AFG enables compliance with the requirements of the French Monetary and Financial Code. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Who joins the AFG? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

French companies authorized to carry out asset management on behalf of third parties<\/strong> and investment companies (in particular asset management companies and SICAVs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
