She has been Vice-Chair of the AFG since September 2020.<br>Mirela Agache Durand started her career at Renault in 1995 and was a research engineer until 1998. She then joined Oddo &amp; Cie in 1998 as a financial engineer, managing diversified portfolios before being promoted to head of diversified and multi-management, a position she held until 2014. In 2014, she joined La Banque Postale Asset Management (LBPAM) as deputy director of management before becoming managing director of Tocqueville Finance (part of the LBPAM group) in 2017 until 2019. She took over as CEO of Groupama AM in February 2020.<br>Mirela Agache Durand holds a degree in Physics from the University of Iasi, a PhD in Plasma Physics from the University of Paris Sud Orsay and is also a CFA-certified analyst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Delphine de CHAISEMARTIN, Deputy CEO, AFG<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>Delphine de Chaisemartin has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of AFG in August 2023. She began her career in 1993 at CPR, before joining PwC in 1997 as an audit manager specialising in financial services. In 2002, she joined Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale Corporate and Investment Banking, where she became Deputy Head and then Head of Financial Control for market activities. In 2006, she continued her career in New York, still with the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale, holding various roles as Managing Director of debt and finance activities. In 2012, she became Head of Strategic Investments Management in the financial sector and ecological transition within the Caisse des D\u00e9p\u00f4ts group until 2018. Subsequently, she joined La Banque Postale in 2018 as Director of Public Affairs and Corporate Group communication, also serving as a member of the management committee. Throughout her career, she has held directorships in several financial companies, including CNP Assurances, BpiFrance financement, SFIL, Qualium investment, Innovation Capital, Tocqueville Finance, LBPAM, AEW and Cr\u00e9dit Logement. Since 2018, she has been a member of the National Sanctions Commission (CNS). She is a graduate of EM Lyon and holds an MBA in Finance, International Relations, Strategic Communication, and Institutional Governance from York University in Toronto (Canada). She also holds a degree in accounting and finance (DECF).<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Louis-Marie DURAND, Director EU &amp; International Public Affairs, AFG<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>Louis-Marie Durand is in charge of the EU and International public affairs at AFG and head of the Brussels office. He has worked in the finance departments of major French industrial groups, in France and Cameroon, then for public affairs consultancies in Madrid, Paris and Brussels. Prior to joining AFG, he was a director in the Franco-European consultancy Euralia, heading the financial services department. He is a graduate of Universit\u00e9 Paris-Dauphine, in economics and finance, and of King&#8217;s College London, in European public affairs.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Alexandra JOUR-SCHROEDER, Deputy Director-General, DG Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union, (DG FISMA), European Commission<\/summary>\n<p>Alexandra Jour-Schroeder is Deputy Director General at the European Commission overseeing the work of the Directorate-General for Financial Services and Financial Markets. She has long-standing experience in EU policies having joined the European Commission in 1996 where she held different positions inter alia in competition, industry-, justice and consumer policies. For 10 years she was a member of Cabinet of several European Commissioners. Before joining the European Commission, Alexandra started her professional career in the European Department of the German Ministry of Economic Affairs. She has a graduate in law.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Emmanuel MASSE, Minister Counsellor for Economic Affairs, Head of the Trade, Commercial and Financial Service, French Permanent Representation to the EU<\/summary>\n<p>Emmanuel Mass\u00e9, Minister Counsellor for Economic Affairs, has been Head of the Economic, Financial services and Trade Department at France&#8217;s Permanent Representation in Brussels since September 2023. Prior to this, he spent three years as Head of the Economic Department at the French Embassy in London. From 2015 to 2020, he was Head of the Macroeconomic and European Affairs Department at the French Treasury and Member of the Board of Directors of the European Investment Bank. Prior to that, he was in charge of various divisions within the financial services and public policy departments at the French Treasury. He is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and ENSAE ParisTech and holds a Master 2 in Mathematics from Universit\u00e9 Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI).<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Mario NAVA, Director-General &#8211; DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL), European Commission<\/summary>\n<p>Mario Nava is the Director-General of DG EMPL of the EU Commission. Previously, he was the Director-General of DG REFORM and has held Director and Head of Unit posts in the DG for Financial Services. He was also President of Italian Financial Market Authority. He teaches at Bocconi University and at Solvay Business School. In 2023, he was awarded the title of Bocconi Alumnus of the year.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Fernando NAVARRETE, Member of the European Parliament<\/summary>\n<p>Fernando Navarrete is a Member of the European Parliament for the 10th legislature, elected in 2024. He serves as Deputy Coordinator for the European People&#8217;s Party (EPP) in the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) and as Coordinator for the EPP in the Subcommittee on Tax Matters (FISC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With over two decades of experience in economic policy and financial regulation, Navarrete has held senior leadership positions at the highest levels of public administration and central banking. Before joining the European Parliament, he was Chief of Staff to the Governor of Banco de Espa\u00f1a, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the bank\u2019s strategy and gained deep insight into the workings of the Eurosystem and the Single Supervisory Mechanism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to that, he served as Secretary General of the Spanish Treasury, overseeing financial policy and debt management for the Spanish government. He had previously been Director General of the Instituto de Cr\u00e9dito Oficial (Spain\u2019s national development bank), where he played a key role in economic development initiatives. Earlier in his career, he led the Economic and Public Policy Department at FAES, designing a policy agenda to address the aftermath of the Global Financial Crisis. He started his professional journey as an economist at Banco de Espa\u00f1a, where he monitored the national implementation of the European banking regulatory framework<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Sirpa PIETIK\u00c4INEN, Member of the European Parliament<\/summary>\n<p>Sirpa Pietik\u00e4inen is a 5th term Member of the European Parliament for the EPP Group, an elected politician since the early 1980s and a former Finnish Minister of Environment. Pietik\u00e4inen is an expert speaker on sustainable finance, capital markets and economic policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Philippe SETBON, Chair of AFG, CEO Natixis IM, Deputy CEO Natixis<\/summary>\n<p>Philippe Setbon is Chief Executive Officer for Natixis Investment Managers. He began his career in 1990 as a financial analyst with Barclays Bank in Paris, before working for Groupe Azur-GMF for 10 years as Head of Asset Management. He then joined Generali Group in 2004 where he held a succession of senior roles including Chief Executive Officer of Generali Investments France, Chief Executive Officer of Generali Investments and Chief Investment Officer for Generali Group. He joined Groupama in 2013 as Chief Executive Officer of Groupama Asset Management. He became Chief Executive Officer of Ostrum Asset Management in 2019. In 2023, he became CEO of Natixis Investment Managers. In January 2025, he was appointed deputy Chief Executive Officer at Natixis, in charge of asset and wealth management and member of the BPCE Executive Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since June 2022, Philippe Setbon has been Chairman of the French Asset Management Association (AFG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He holds a Master and a Post-Graduate Diploma (DESS) in Finance from Paris-Dauphine University and is a graduate of the French Society of Financial Analysts (SFAF).<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Tanguy van de WERVE, Director General of EFAMA<\/summary>\n<p>Tanguy became the Head of EFAMA in December 2018. In that capacity, he leads in the formulation of industry positions on the main policy developments and engages with relevant EU and international authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is a member of ESMA\u2019s Securities and Markets Stakeholder Group,&nbsp;chairs FinDatEx\u2019s Steering Group and teaches &#8216;Business interest representation in the EU&#8217; at the College of Europe in Bruges.&nbsp;Tanguy is also a member of the IIFA Board and sits on the Administrative Committee of the European Parliamentary Financial Services Forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before joining EFAMA, he was Head of the Brussels office of AFME (European investment banking industry &#8211; 2015-2018), Director General of Leaseurope and Eurofinas (European leasing and consumer credit industries \u2013 2006-2015), and Head of Banking Supervision and Capital Markets at the European Banking Federation (2001-2006). Other relevant roles include positions at Euroclear and Dexia as well as non-Executive Director of Belgium-domiciled UCITS (2006-2018).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He holds a degree in law from the University of Louvain-la-Neuve (BE) as well as a diploma in Political Sciences &amp; International Relations and a certificate of specialised studies (DES) in Financial Risks Management.
