Employee savings at end december  2009: Assets under management amounted to €84.5 billion.

 Assets under management (AUM) in employee savings vehicles amounted to €84.8 billion, up 18% on 31 December 2008.

• The increase was attributable to inflows to savings schemes, PEEs and PERCOs.
• More than 11.8 million employees participated in savings schemes. 

 

 

 

 

• Diversified funds account for 59% of AUM, compared with 41% for employee share ownership funds.
• Investments in Socially Responsible Investment funds  represented €3.9 billion and investments in solidarity funds, €1 billion. 

 

Employee investment fund assets

The AFG publishes the list of employee investment fund management companies and the amount of assets under management in such funds.

The list is drawn up twice a year.

 

Statistics on custody account keeping for workplace savings

Every year the AFG publishes statistics on custody-account keeping for workplace savings schemes, using the information provided by its member companies.
